An Immersive Exhibit Created

In collaboration with GHD Partners , Sam Gomez, & Mizu Gonzales

Project Brief /

Research all the possible interpretations of understandings of the concept of “Movement”. Consider how the concept of movement might be understood from a wide variety of contexts or situations. Design an educational exhibit at the Los Angeles International Airport. The exhibit will be in a 20’x30’ room with a single entry and exit. The audiences may include both children and adults, students, tourists, retired people, and those with special needs. The visitors to this space may come from a wide variety of different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. They might speak a variety of different languages and your exhibit should communicate it’s basic concepts and purposes without an extensive knowledge of written or spoken English.

Concept /

Movement is represented as time and culture. The emergence of self expression through the decades, showcasing and celebrating different facets of pop culture that pushed the boundaries that would shape pop culture today.
