Project Brief

A recent trip to Japan inspired a marketing idea. The client, Ultra Music Festival, an electronic music festival located in Miami, Florida, wants a self-contained mobile marketing device that can be used to temporarily brand an environment. They have selected a 10'x10'x10' cube for this purpose. The cube is to be transported from site to site on a flat-bed truck and set in place using a forklift. Once in place, the cube may unfold, expand or increase into a larger area.

Solution

The final Pop-Up, located Miami’s Design District, was created by researching Ultra Music Festival’s brand semantic. The goal was to sell the experience of Ultra Music Festival to the those visiting the pop-up, so the final product is meant to feel like a bright futuristic party. The Pop-Up includes an information booth, a screen playing reels of the festival, multiple photo-op areas, a merchandise wall, and a bar where guests can feel like they are partying in a neon-lit Cyberpunk future.
